By having three big square ads, you display more ads but this has a nasty consequence: more less paying ads are shown. I suggest you try with a little less ads for something like a week and I'm sure your CPM will increase. This is because you will display less ads, but more paying ones. Make sure you keep the ads with best CTR. On one of my blog I make more money if I put less ads on it for that reason.
